The PeopleReady located at North Hollywood California 91605 is currently hiring a Machine Operator Job Description The Press Operator will be responsible for the setup and operation of a press including the use of UV water based inks. A Press Operator will also be responsible for managing all aspects of the press including performance productivity quality and maintenance. 4 day work week Monday-Thursday 2 45pm-12 15am Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 18 Hour Shift Timing - 2nd Shift (Evening) Responsibilities Include Ensure that product is printed according to specifications. Pulls job tickets and verifies stock ink and dies are available and used as specified. Performs line clearance by following line clearance SOP. Pulls spec verifies ink colors die outline stock and special instructions. Set up machine installs ink correct stock die and plates. Set impressions and registers print-to-print and print-to-die. Complete all starts up checks verify scan ability of bar code and get start approval. Complete in-process inspections follow work instructions and control plan. Performs general maintenance to press. Follows 5s guidelines assigned to the work area and surrounding areas. Perform other duties as assigned.
