The PeopleReady located at North Hills California 91343 is currently hiring a Retail Worker Job Description Responsible for assisting department manager in retrieving and distributing products pricing stocking rotation of merchandise and cleanliness in the meat department and if needed providing excellent customer service to ensure a quality shopping experience. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 17 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) Weekends Responsibilities Include Respond appropriately in any customer interaction. Assist in department by weighing packaging and pricing merchandise. Answer customer phone calls and assist in with inquiries and special orders. Retrieve special orders from refrigerated coolers and distribute appropriately. Ensure refrigerated coolers store shelves and other applicable displays are adequately stocked and faced at all times. Assist customers at counter and respond appropriately in interactions provide excellent customer service through attentive listening and resourceful assistance. Handle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods. Sweep & clean floor areas as prescribed by management. Clean and sanitize meat preparation areas and department equipment fixtures containers and utensils. Remove trash from department and dispose of according to company procedures. Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise. Be familiar with products and ensure proper rotation of merchandise in accordance with store policy and product code dates. Comply with safety policies and procedures store rules and company policies and all applicable local state and federal regulations. Other related duties and assignments as required. Qualifications Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Basic math skills - addition subtraction multiplication and division on the fly Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Able to learn quickly about the client s products and needs Able to stand in a stationary position for extended period of time Must be able to provide proof of Covid vaccination and immunizations.
