Director of Construction Management - Administration Oversight Dispute Resolution - Akron OH - JOB 21-00726 Salary Range 135K - 145K Permanent Position with Benefits. A growing full service civil engineering consulting firm is seeking to hire a Director of Construction Management to plan lead and grow our Construction Management Client Service Group. Projects may include construction administration construction oversight dispute resolution documentation and quality control pre-construction services and stakeholder communication. Remote Work. Optional Work from Home. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.Travel is primarily local during the business day. Must have a valid driver s license and possess a driving record that will enable the employee to be insurable under the Company s standard vehicle insurance and general comprehensive liability insurance without additional costs to the Company. This position will assist principals and the leadership team in building and elevating the firms brand for construction management services developing and implementing the group s business plan and developing and driving employee programs that foster a positive work environment and help develop each employee to their full potential. REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field. Master s degree is preferred. 10 to 15 years experience in construction & 7 years Supervisory Experience. Certifications Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE) Advanced communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent leadership and organizational skills in a team-oriented environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that assigned projects are completed within budget and schedule while meeting client needs business objectives and design guidelines. Oversee technical and business operations of Service Group. Develop program and annual budget for regional capital expenditures. Manage service group s financials develop and grow top-line revenue and financial targets develop and manage financial model for staffing and resources. Hire develop and lead all Associates within Service Group. Guide the development and implementation of the group s business plans translate overall business strategies to functional area strategies and tactics successfully convey organizational mission vision values and strategies company- wide. Author and implement business development strategies including client relationship development client pursuits new introductions and revenue procurement for the Group. Attend networking events trade shows and technical conferences for business development purposes. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
