The PeopleReady located at Frederick Maryland 21702 is currently hiring a Warehouse Worker Job Description As a Warehouse Worker you will do any number of tasks picking packing and preparing orders to shipping and handling or even stocking. Employees will assist with unloading fixtures and shelving as well as installing fixtures and shelving throughout the warehouse. Shift 1st Shift (Day) Pay rate 17 hour. Responsibilities Include Loading and unloading trucks Packing and unpacking items Assisting with warehouse site setup Unload trucks and put equipment in staging areas where it will be erected or assembled Moving securing installing building and loading or unloading materials Assisting in the building or construction of various things Some specialized tasks may require on-the job training adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required Steel-toed boots required Discernment for safety and a positive attitude Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Good judgment and attention to detail Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment Able to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time Must be able to work Monday thru Saturday 50 - 60 hours weekly 10 - 12 hours Daily Moderate lifting 30lbs - 50lbs Must have a comprehensive understanding on basic tools Drill Screwdriver Measuring tape etc.
