A medium sized NE Ohio manufacturing company is seeking to hire a 3rd Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the safety of the employees quality of the products produced and the efficiency of the machines and labor used during the shift. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for all Production employees performing their duties per established company procedures and guidelines. 3rd Shift Hours 11 30 PM 8 00 AM Training Hours 8 00 AM 4 00 PM REQUIREMENTSAssociates degree is desired but not required. Able to troubleshoot injection molding process and auxiliary equipment. Perform the duties of Material Handler Die-Setter or Processor as required. RESPONSIBILITIESRead and interpret daily schedule. Read and understand B.O.M. sheets. Establish daily work assignments. Record daily product and monitor labor cards and efficiency. Monitor and understand all documentation used on the production floor. Establish an injection molding process that provides an acceptable product. Understand processing concepts that help determine locked down processes Rheology Intensification Turbulence Plastic Melt Plastic Pressure. Make personnel decisions and administer discipline that is consistent with company policy. Follow training procedures for all new employees. Identify problems and carry out solutions for machine mold material or procedural problems to include physically performing the job task when necessary. Above all else working on continuous improvement is a must. Evaluate employees regularly and communicate their performance. Communicate effectively with Vice President of Operations. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSHand dexterity Math skills Ability to read Ability to stand for 8.0 hours. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds as needed Capable of performing bending lifting overhead reaching twisting and pushing and pulling movements as required by the job task being performed at any given time during a scheduled work shift.
