Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer - HVAC Chillers & Boilers Fire Protection - Akron OH - JOB 20-00719Salary Range 60K - 80K Permanent Position with Benefits. A small fast-growing Mechanical Engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced HVAC & Fire Protection Designer to grow with them. Plumbing experience is a BIG plus. This position offers excellent growth potential.REQUIREMENTSBSME is required. Active Ohio PE License is highly desired (or close to obtaining it) LEED AP is preferred. 3 - 10 years experience doing mechanical engineering and design for HVAC & Fire Protection for a variety of facilities is required. Candidates must be well versed in A E Design process and specifically the development process for creating construction documents. MS Office (Word Excel and PowerPoint) experienced. Revit & AutoCAD experience is required. Must also have either Trane Trace Carrier HAP or eQuest experience to run calculations. Candidates must have design experience in some or all of the following piping systems ductwork systems variable air volume terminal units ground source heat pump systems variable refrigerant flow systems water chemical treatment systems packaged chillers packaged roof top A C units central plants utilizing chillers boilers & cooling tower constant and variable flow pumping systems constant and variable flow air handling units temperature control & energy management systems. Candidates must be willing to do production drawings redlines visiting job sites ECN s client meetings review of all work prior to submittal. Local candidates only.
