Not only do we serve variety of gelato and coffee but we also serve other food and drinks that meet different needs.We are currently hiring a full-time Food Service Supervisor at our location who can supervise direct and co-ordinate the activities of the front of house staff. Employer name Brazza Gelato and CoffeeWork Location 1846 Lonsdale Ave North Vancouver BC V7M 2J9Position Title Food Service SupervisorTerms of Employment Full-time PermanentEstimated Starting Date As soon as possiblePosition available 1Wage 17.00 - 17.50 per hour (depending on experience)Work Hours 35 hours per weekBenefit 4% Vacation Pay per year & TipsJob Duties Supervise and co-ordinate the workload of the front of house staff ensuring employees meet Brazza Gelato and Coffee customer service standards Train new staff following up to ensure an understanding of job duties sanitation and safety procedures and assist in hiring process of the front of house staff Assist with and recommend scheduling options to the Owner Estimate and order supplies required for day-to-day operation and keep record of repairs for all kitchen barista equipment and point-of sale systems Monitor review and keep records of inventory sales and wastage and report to the Owner Ensure that the quality of food and drink produced and services provided are up to Brazza Gelato and Coffee standards taking action with production and making recommendations as required Recommend daily special and ongoing menu changes. Qualification Completion of secondary school is required Completion of a community college program in food service administration hotel and restaurant management or related discipline OR several years of experience in food preparation or service are required Strong supervisory interpersonal customer service leadership and training skills required Excellent communication and organizational skills.
