The PeopleReady located at Beamsville Ontario L0R 1B7 is currently hiring a Greenhouse General Labour Job Description PeopleReady is recruiting for a reputable greenhouse in Beamsville Paid Weekly on Fridays Full Time Positions Available from Monday to Friday Pay rate 14.39 hour. Vacation premium included with each cheque This is a temporary position starting Tuesday November 23rd and ongoing for 2 weeks - certain workers may be chosen afterwards to continue working at the same client in an ongoing staffing position. Responsibilities Include Pot and re-pot plants Transplant seeding or rooted cuttings Watering Tending to plants Assist in pruning trees shrubs and plants Moving soil bins Assist in packaging and shipping Maintain work area(s) and end of shift cleaning PHYSICAL DEMANDS Frequent lifting of product ranging from 15-50 lbs (more weight with assistance) Frequent moving throughout the greenhouse during shifts Repetitive tasks WORKSITE ENVIRONMENT Indoors Outdoors in a greenhouse farm setting Hot Humid TRANSPORTATION TRAVEL INFORMATION Own transportation No public transit available Transportation may provided by branch with restrictions and a fee For consideration please apply with a completed application.
