The PeopleReady located at Ottawa Ontario K2A 1C4 is currently hiring a Snow Shoveller Job Description This position is ON-CALL dependent upon accumulating or anticipated snow and ice and freeze thaw conditions. Efficiently shovel push snow away from building walkways to designated areas (generally the lot) Pay Rate for this Job is 16 Hour - 18 Hour Shift Timing - All Available Responsibilities Include Apply appropriate amounts of salt on walkways Work in all weather conditions Effectively using a snow shovel or ice chopper Working outdoors in appropriate safety and protective equipment Must be on call and available 24 hours a day 7 days a week including holidays Must be able get to the shop location or designated work site(s) on their own Must frequently lift or move up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lift or move up to fifty pounds Qualifications There is no minimal educational requirement Strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to bend and twist
