Will be operating sewing machine. Read a paper pattern. Hand cut from a pattern. Establish production sewing steps. Sew prototypes and sew at a production-quality level. Improve on pattern sewing process. Pay Rate for this Job is 20 Hour Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) Responsibilities Include Setting up and operating machines needed to build products based on work orders and supervisor s instructions Inspecting products for defects and machines for malfunctions Maintain a safe and clean work space Follow established safety rules and GMPs Qualifications Must know How to read a paper pattern How to hand cut from a pattern How to establish production sewing steps Sew prototypes and sew at a production-quality level How to improve on pattern sewing process Additional but not mandatory skills How to grade a pattern (create additional sizes off of one pattern size) Would be good if they had experience with riveting and punching leather goods (by hand and or by machine) Would be good if they can transfer a paper pattern to a production hard pattern.
