We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Cafeteria Worker to oversee enhance and ensure a pleasant dining experience for our guests. The Cafeteria Worker will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members engage with guests in a professional dignified manner and inform management of potential service and product issues before they arise. You will perform opening duties to prepare for service and closing duties at the end of your shift. You will employ sound judgment to establish whether to take guests food orders swiftly or to allow them time to relax. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 10 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) Responsibilities Include In addition to preparing and serving food your duties include restocking and maintaining supplies for the kitchen and cafeteria as well as maintaining and cleaning the kitchen equipment and washing dishes Responsibilities are to prepare and serve meals typically for large groups of people. When preparing food you adhere to any and all food preparation safety standards. Cleans utensils equipment and the storage food preparation and serving areas for the purpose of maintaining sanitary conditions Serves one or more items of food for the purpose of meeting mandated nutritional requirements and or requests of students Uses proper body mechanics and cleaning procedures for the purpose of preventing accidental injuries to self and others. Qualifications Completion of product knowledge training and written and verbal exams. Proficient with maintaining solid customer base. Excellent verbal communication skills. Outstanding people skills. Well-groomed professional appearance. Physically fit agile and dexterous. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Proficient time-management skills.
