Position Info Position Chef Terms of employment Full-time Permanent Wage 19.00 25.00 hour (depending on experience) Working Hours 30 40 hours week Number of Positions 2 Work Location 3-1805 Rosser Avenue Burnaby BC V5C 6R4 Benefits 4% vacation pay Job Duties Prepare and cook individual items complete meals or specialty foods according to standardized recipes. Plan and design decorative food displays. Create new menus and recipes following quality standards. Estimate food requirements and may estimate costs. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs. Ensure food meets quality standards. May participate in hiring and training kitchen staff. Co-operate with other staff in preparation cooking garnishing and presentation of food. Job requirements Experience 2 3 years of experience as a chef are required. Education Completion of secondary school is required.
