Sushiwood is looking for F T Restaurant Cooks.Position Info Position Restaurant Cook Terms of employment Full-time Permanent Wage 16 20 hour (depending on experience) Working Hours 30 40 hours week Number of Positions 2 Work Location 702 Vernon Street Nelson BC V1L 4G2 Benefits 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay Job Duties Prepare an extensive variety of foods utilizing standardized recipes Maintain the food prep area and kitchen clean and sanitized Maintain accurate food inventories Ensure the production of high-quality merchandise Oversee kitchen operations May plan menus regulate size of food portions approximate food requirements and costs and monitor and order supplies May assist in hiring and recruitment of new staffs Job requirements Experience 2 3 years of commercial cooking experience are required. Education Completion of Secondary School is required.
