The PeopleReady located at Brooklyn New York 11216 is currently hiring a Maintenance Assistant Job Description PeopleReady ofLong Island City has an immediate opening forMaintenance Assistantsin Brooklyn NY.The Maintenance Associate is responsible for all building maintenance-related duties. This includes light troubleshooting and major repair work as needed. In addition the Maintenance associate will be responsible for maintaining the electrical plumbing and cleanup of the different departments within the building. Shift Timing -All Available Responsibilities Include Responsible for minor and major building maintenance repairs Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry plumbing electric painting HVAC and masonry. Perform plastering painting and general carpentry. Paint remodel and repair the flooring Complete installations and demolitions through the facility Responsible for general clean up Repairs minor problems of buildings and foundations to include the roof ceilings walls floors basements and all mechanical contents of the building. Perform additional duties as required and or requested Qualifications High school education required 3 years maintenance experience required 1 years electrical and plumbing experience required Technical certificate is a plus Must be able to work in a team environment and or with little supervision Knowledge of using computer or tablet a plus Ability to travel as required The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
