The PeopleReady located at Elk River Minnesota 55330 is currently hiring a Production Assistant Job Description Peopleready has immediate Temp-to-Hire Production Assistant positions in Elk River MN.As a Production Assistant you will be packaging products and ensuring that they are ready for shipping. 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3 30 pm working some Saturdays and OT during busy season. If interested please call Peopleready at 763.441.6526 Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 17 Hour Responsibilities Include Prepare packaging including staging skids pallets cores and other materials required. Conduct 12-point inspections on each product prior to packaging Package and band products according to specifications utilizing wrapper and bander equipment. Ensure proper tags are placed on the correct pallets. Place finish products into warehouse based on order number and size with forklift clamp truck or pallet jack. Restack and sort skids as required. Load and unload trucks using forklift or clamp truck. Operate additional equipment such as baler trim system and others as needed. Maintain waste levels and dispose of waste properly by grade. Report quality control issues with products. Replace recycling and trash receptacles. Finalize 12-point inspection after run and save samples according to procedures and production orders. Assist sheeter operations as needed. Meet established production and quality standards while conforming to all company attendance and personnel policies. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows all prescribed safety procedures. Maintain site security and site orderliness. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Ability to think critically analytically and problem solve. Ability to work individually and in a team environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read tape measure up to 1 16 Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division. Prefer 1 year of production and forklift experience. Drug test required.
