The PeopleReady located at Suffolk Virginia 23434 is currently hiring a Floor Tech Job Description Purpose of the Position This position is responsible for helping the night shift supervisor with directing and overseeing the work of floor technicians and the upholstery team. This position will also perform floor technician work housekeeping and upholstery duties as well as ensure all assigned buildings are well always maintained.If interested please give our office a call at 757-539-0045 Pay Rate for this Job is 12 Hour Shift Timing - 3rd Shift Responsibilities Include Knowledge Skills Abilities (KSA s) and or Competencies required and preferred Required Good interpersonal and communication skills. Thorough knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies. Skilled in the use of housekeeping equipment Skilled in the use of floor maintenance equipment and supplies. Ability to stand for extended periods of time lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. tolerate frequent bending stooping and climbing stairs Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty staff and employees. Ability to multi-task and establish priorities. Ability to exhibit initiative responsibility flexibility and leadership. Excellent organization skills Qualifications Ability to work from 11 pm - 8 am Monday - Friday. . Serious enquires only. Experience Required but we will train the right person Experience overseeing the work of others. Previous custodial experience cleaning various types of floors. Demonstrated experience using cleaning products. Previous experience using various floor tools and or floor maintenance equipment.
