Position Info Position Plasterer Apprentice Terms of employment Full-time Permanent Wage 27.50 30 hour (depending on experience) Working Hours 30-40 hours week Number of Positions 1 Work Location unit 4 1301 Ketch Court Coquitlam BC V3K 6X7 Benefits 8% vacation pay Extended Health Dental and Vision Job Duties Clean and prepare surfaces Mix the plaster ingredients in the trough until desired consistency is reached Put the plaster on with trowels brushes floats and spray equipment levelling and smoothing Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces Finish corners and angles in a finish coat and add decorative designs if desired Cure freshly plastered surfaces Mould and install ornamental plaster panels cornices and trim Spray ceilings and walls with acoustic materials Job requirements Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program in plastering drywalling or lathing or 2 3 years of work experience is required Education Completion of secondary school is required Language English How to Apply Company information Charles Joseph Plastering Ltd.
