Shipping operator is responsible for day-to-day shipping support of the company s customer accounts and the coordination of product deliveries. This position will involve opportunity for logistics training and opportunity for advancement in more broader supply chain role. Pay Rate for this Job is 16 Hour - 18 Hour Job Responsibilities Pick wrap and stage orders to be shipped Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping Operate forklift and hand truck Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return Collecting product from the warehouse and safely transporting materials to be loaded for delivery using powered equipment Update and maintain shipping documents and log files as needed Checks and compares data for accuracy and completeness Facilitation of all communications between the various departments working together for a project Identify safety hazards in the workplace Qualifications High school diploma GED required. Forklift experience (must achieve certification) Knowledge Skills and Abilities Organization work management and prioritizing skills ability to multitask listen to and able to follow direction Able to lift 50lbs. Excellent communication skills.
