The area that the associate will work in will be cold so wearing layered clothing is required for shift. Assembly will be done at Atlanta Box Meat Dairy facility. Total number of dinners for 2021 assembled in Atlanta Approximately 19 418. This represents an 18% increase from last year. Planned assembly will be Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday Target is 1030 dinners per hour or 8 250 per night Labor for the assembly is TBD currently. Turkeys will be slacked thawed in Atlanta Box Meat Dairy. They will be worked directly from the holding area to the build area. Dressing and mashed potatoes will be transferred from Atlanta Frozen. Gravy relish & marshmallow delight will arrive in Atlanta by Saturday November 13th . Boxes and pop-up timers will arrive in Atlanta by Friday November 12th All boxes will be worked directly from trailers and will be assembled during production. Publix will recycle cardboard Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 15 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) Responsibilities Jewelry is prohibited (except for a simple wedding band without stones) Wear closed toe shoes No damaged product to be used in dinners Lift with legs not back No throwing cases keep work area clean Cannot leave production line until break and rotate work positions when coming back from break Motor operators need to use extreme caution there are a lot of people in this work area Be aware of your surroundings watch where you are walking Walk through process One of each item must be in each dinner (label up) for regular dinners and 2 of all side items must be in each dinner (label up) for large dinners. Each dinner must have a timer instructions and date label Tie dinners on pallet and shrink wrap every pallet Empty turkey boxes get stacked on a pallet all other boxes break down and place in bins No items are to be removed from publix property including but not limited to food dinners damaged product or empty boxes. All bags are subject to search Qualification Must have some basic computer experience. Must be able to walk bend lift reach and stoop and stand for various amounts of time during shift. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Dependable daily attendance and ability to meet productivity goals. Strong organizational work. Detail-oriented. Prior warehouse experienced preferred but not required.
