Division 2 Contracting Ltd.is looking for full time Concrete Cutters. Division 2 Contracting is an established and growing demolition excavation concrete cutting and abatement contractor with jobsites throughout Metro Vancouver BC located in Surrey BC V3V 4G4 5 Positions available. Main duties are as follows but not limited to Concrete Cutters perform the following tasks Lead the demolition and abatement skilled labourers on jobsites. Set up adjust and operate machines to drill grind and cut concrete to specifications. Check results for quality control repair flaws and perform ongoing machine adjustments and minor maintenance as necessary. Operate mechanical hydraulic or electric concrete cutting equipment such as wall saws slab saws ring saws wire saws grinders coring and hand drills. Cut concrete with saws hand or machine tools. Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of concrete to specified dimensions. Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of concrete according to specifications. Move products using forklift crane hydraulic hoist chain hoist hand carts and mobile equipment. Mandatory Experience EducationNo formal education required Minimum 3 years commercial construction experience Verbal written and reading English language required Successful candidates may be responsible for training and supervising employees. Hours of work are normally 8 hours day 5 days a week. Occasional afternoon night and weekend shifts may be required. Pay is 28 hour.Only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
