The PeopleReady located at Hamilton Ontario L8L 8K6 is currently hiring a Candy Packer Job Description PeopleReady ofHamilton has an immediate opening forCandy Packer in Hamilton ON. Working on a production line packaging various candies and chocolates to be palletized and shipped. This is 3 shifts 7am to 3pm 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am. Each employee will rotate. Rotation is mandatory. Responsibilities Include Packing raw products into final packaging as per customer s specifications Complete metal detector date code checks as per predetermined frequency Ensure pallet layout is as per specification Ensure correct packaging material is being used as per specification Ensure all paperwork is correct and complete At the end of the shift ensure work center is properly cleaned and garbage is removed from area and left in a tidy and safe condition Follow all GMP and food safety practices Follow all plant safety rules and OHSA Report all unsafe conditions to supervisor May work in extreme temperature conditions (hot cold humid) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Must have good working knowledge of both written and oral English Must be able to read & understand SOPs equipment manuals operating instructions use arithmetic Technically capable of understanding equipment operation process and product flow Ability to operate material handling and production equipment as per standard procedures Performing tasks requiring light physical exertion such as sitting standing bending walking using light tools and machines and or medium weight materials or regular visual concentration or frequent travel For More information please contact the Branch at - Call - 9055255650 Email -1059-br(at)peopleready.com
