The first step in a sales career with us this is an hourly-rate and commission position. We are making a difference in the fight against climate change educating prospects and property owners on the benefits of solar energy. By creating a customized solution eligible for a federal government subsidy we save homeowners tens of thousands of dollars.What you will do You will meet and educate prospective clients provide information regarding the switch to solar and scheduling the homeowner to meet with one of our consultants or trained solar technicians. What you bring Drive to succeed. You will be the first step in our sales process setting up appointments for our Consultants who rely on commission-based sales. You will be expected to meet or exceed your quota of 2 appointments secured per day. Full disclosure that could be interacting with up to 50 homeowners every day. Energy to burn. You will be walking from 5-10 miles a day. And if you ve spent more than a week here you know that means a range of weather conditions. You will need a reliable form of transportation to get yourself from point A to B and back again. A growth mindset. You will be learning about our product and our sales approach. You may need to come up to speed on using CRM tools to track and manage scheduled appointments document customer details and generally track your data. Exceptional interpersonal skills and resiliency. You will be knocking on doors interacting with reserved homeowners and you are ready to step up to the challenge of securing an in-home visit by one of our technicians. While you don t give up easily you can maintain a sense of professionalism at all times and understand that rejection is part of your day.
