The PeopleReady located at Lakewood Washington 98499 is currently hiring a Solid Dose Packager Job Description The SD Packager under general supervision performs packaging and production activities which require a thorough working knowledge of various processes operation and packaging machines. Sets up filling and packaging runs loads and unloads label equipment and assists associates where needed. Advises relevant personnel of any problems with equipment and materials. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 16 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) Responsibilities Loads and unloads machine bulk and components Follows GMP guidelines Completes all production paperwork required Maintains bulk and components in machinery Assists any other associates if needed Performs equipment changeover Cleans equipment accessories and work area Quality-in-Process checks and Quality Control Inspections (lids labels applied correctly code dates) Equipment Use various filling and packaging line equipment pallet jacks labeling equipment and casing equipment. Other tasks as assigned. Qualification Experience Training Education High School Diploma or equivalent Similar work experience preferred Knowledge of Basic machinery Must learn and operate according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Skills Abilities Must be mechanically inclined Good organizational skills and detail oriented Interpersonal skill and good communications skills
