Position Info Position General Foreman Woman - Building Construction Terms of employment Full-time Permanent Wage 31.75 33.00 hour (depending on experience) Working Hours 30 40 hours week Number of Positions 1 Work Location 7438 Gilley Avenue Burnaby BC V5J 4X5 Benefits 4% vacation pay Job Duties Supervise co-ordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers including related apprentices helpers and labourers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Requisition materials and supplies. Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity. Train or arrange for training of workers. May participate in hirings and promotions of construction workers. Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed. Prepare schedules and other reports. Job requirements Experience 2 3 years of experience in the construction industry are required. Education Completion of secondary school is required.
