Good interpersonal communication skills both oral and written. Ability to work alone or in groups. Self-motivated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple project assignments in a fast-paced environment is required. Proficient with MS Office. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to lift 40-50 pounds. Prod Dev Food Scientist duties Work on specifically assigned R& D project either independently or alongside Product Developer. Develop work plan timeline and deliver on key project milestones represent R& D at cross-functional team meetings. Plan coordinate and execute product development via bench top and pilot plant work. Prepare and process beverage samples oversee shelf life testing conduct bench top tastings schedule and produce products for sensory panels and consumer test interpret data and make recommendations as well as maintaining detailed records in laboratory notebook.
