Operations Manager - Manufacturing Forecasting Metrics Driven Organizational - Massillon OH - JOB 21-00553 Salary Range Negotiable - Permanent Position with Benefits. A privately owned manufacturing company that provides precision machining services is seeking to hire an Operations Manager to be responsible for the effective direction and management of manufacturing operations. Will be responsible for coordination of manufacturing operations including Safety Quality S& OP Purchasing Production Production Supervision Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering. Benefits 401(K) Matching Heath Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance STD Insurance REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree is required 10 years in progressive leadership roles inside of a manufacturing environment preferably with precision machinery. 5 years as a successful Operational Management with P& L knowledge and full site responsibility. Must be metrics driven and able to implement new strategies when necessary. Strong planning organizational analytical communication and collaboration skills. Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams. Effectively communicate production targets and priorities to manufacturing and support teams & Manufacturing forecasting. Sales and operations planning (S& OP). Strong computer skills ERP MRP experience a plus. Manage a multi-shift operation. RESPONSIBILITIESManage all manufacturing operations and processes. Direct Production and Maintenance. Meet production and customer requirements by managing all plant resources including machines and personnel. Set track and achieve company goals related to areas of responsibility. i.e. on time delivery production efficiency and indirect labor. Utilize and drive 5S & Lean tools to enhance production floor efficiency. Actively participate in cost reduction safety and continuous improvement. Effectively communicate importance of employee performance work ethic attendance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
