Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) & Corporate IT Security Lead Establishing & Maintaining Classified Environment - Akron OH - JOB 21-00497 Salary Range Commensurate - Permanent Position with Benefits. A custom software developer servicing the military defense and commercial industries is seeking to hire an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Corporate IT Security Lead who has an interest in establishing certifying and maintaining this company s classified environment under the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Risk Management Framework. The candidate must have superior technical skills and be fully capable of guiding an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to fully support all security measures ensuring full compliance of all this company s programs to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). As the Corporate Information Security Lead (Architect) the employee will be fully versed in contractual security requirements such as CMMC NIST 800-171 performing gap analysis on the existing systems and creating IT solutions to enhance the corporate infrastructure. Must have Security Clearance or able to obtain it or reinstate it quickly. GENERAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor s Degree in a computer-related field with a preference for IT or Security Has CISSP or CISSP Associate requiring work experience. Candidates willing to complete the CISSP exam within 3 months of hire date will be considered. Experience with Windows and RedHat Linux operating systems. Familiarity conducting vulnerability scan packages assessment and remediation tooling. Excellent communications skills (written & oral) with the ability to conduct technical briefings. ISSM REQUIREMENTSPersonnel Security Clearance of S with investigation within 10 years or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Implementing and auditing program security IAW NISPOM requirements. Experience as an ISSM implementing NISPOM Chapter 8 requirements. Experience developing maintaining security processes and procedures on DoD programs. Must be familiar with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Must be familiar with the DAAPM Baseline Standard requirements Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG). CORPORATE SECURITY LEAD (Architect) REQUIREMENTSExperience with Networking architecture including CIDR VLAN & VPN. Experience with DevSecOps including scripting and automation frameworks. Experience with Public Key Infrastructure and SSL Certificates Experience as a subject matter expert on the implementation and capabilities of security controls working toward CMMC Level 3 certification. Experience handling the ongoing documentation development implementation and maintenance of processes procedures and services associated with Cyber Security architecture functions including requirements tracing and internal external audits. Experience with developing new security technology solutions design review and collaboration on the deployment of new solutions for enterprise environments. Must have Security Clearance or able to obtain it or reinstate it quickly. RESPONSIBILITIESThis position is for an experienced Cyber Security professional to ensure systems are operated maintained and disposed of in accordance with security policies and procedures as outlined in the system security authorization pack. Conduct periodic assessments and review of audit records of authorized systems providing corrective actions for all identified findings and vulnerabilities. Possessing sufficient experience and technical competence commensurate with the complexity of the systems supported.
