Structural Engineer Fall Protection Design (Safety) Revit Bluebeam - Dayton OH - JOB 21-00535 Salary Range 65K - 120K Permanent Position with Benefits. A growing multi-discipline engineering and consulting firm that provides civil and structural engineering services is seeking to hire a Structural Engineer that s interested in being trained in fall protection safety engineering to become a more well-rounded engineer for their department. REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree in engineering required. Master s degree is desired but not required. P.E. license preferred (if not currently licensed ability to obtain P.E. license within two years highly desired) Minimum of one-year experience required two to three years desired Experience in structural steel design required Reinforced concrete design experience preferred CAD experience with REVIT and Bluebeam preferred STRAP or other structural analysis software experience required. Microsoft Office experience required. RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to develop creative solutions for a wide array of situations using fundamental structural engineering principles. Frequent opportunities to visit client sites and identify safety issues requiring engineered solutions. You will be expected to access locations at height climb ladders scaffolding use personal fall protection systems documenting structural systems in existing industrial commercial institutional facilities wear additional personal protective equipment at times. Taking responsibility for directing less experienced staff and engineering technicians on specific projects tasks Client interaction to determine their needs and next steps for projects Office environment with industrial settings when serving clients.
