The PeopleReady located at Windsor Connecticut 6095 is currently hiring a Housekeeper Laundry Attendant Job Description A Housekeeper or Maid is responsible for taking care of a building s general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents. Their duties include cleaning floors making beds and dusting surfaces throughout a home or other building.A laundry attendant washes and dries soiled clothes or linens. As a laundry worker your job responsibilities include collecting soiled linens or clothing sorting laundry by color and fabric type performing stain treatments and operating laundry machines to wash and dry items. Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) & 3rd Shift (Night) Pay Rate for this Job is 18 Hour Responsibilities Include Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house. Consistently offers professional friendly and engaging service. Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed. Responds timely to guests special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs cots extra towels etc. Maintains inventory of necessary supplies. Reports necessary maintenance items. Follows departmental policies and procedures. Follows all safety and sanitation policies Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. Performs additional duties as needed Qualifications Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
