The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City has openings for full-time Commissioned Police Officers.The University of Oklahoma HSC Police Department with a uniformed force of 44 commissioned officers 15 security officers 8 dispatchers and 3 civilian employees protects citizens and property from criminal activity keeps the peace enforces laws apprehends criminals and helps prepare cases for prosecution. The department provides much of its own training to include firearm qualifications non-lethal weapon certification law enforcement drivers training patrol rifle and standard field sobriety test certification. The department consists of a Patrol Division Criminal Investigations Division Administrative Division and Emergency Management office.Requirements High School diploma or GED and six (6) months law enforcement or comparable experience. Must have an Oklahoma Driver s License be at least 21 years of age must not have been convicted of a felony or domestic violence and be a CLEET certified police officer.
