The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City has openings for full-time Police Dispatcher.The University of Oklahoma HSC Police Department Dispatchers are the safety line for the department s officers. Dispatcher take calls from campus locations and 911 calls forwarded from surrounding agencies. Dispatchers must be able to multi-task by obtaining emergency information and correctly informing officers of the location and nature of the calls-for-service asking callers important information for the safety of the officers monitor numerous alarm systems other agency radio frequencies be able to operate computers and associated systems to include OLETS monitor video systems and other similar duties in a high stress environment.Requirements High School diploma or GED.
