The OUHSC campus in Oklahoma City has an opening for a full-time Laboratory Technician.We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join a collaborative and multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists focused on newborn health and disease research. The candidate will contribute to projects investigating pulmonary developmental disorders. The candidate will utilize and document cell molecular and physiological approaches (i.e. cell culture cell-based assays immunohistochemistry Western blots ELISAs nucleic acid & protein isolation and detection and rodent experiments) to generate and analyze data as well as perform other related duties tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned. The candidate will NOT be required to work with patients or in a clinical setting. Don t worry if you don t know these techniques we will teach you We are looking for someone who WANTS to learn and can work within a group setting.Familiarity with Windows Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) is preferred. Must be willing to work with rodents (mainly mice) after proper training.Requirements Associate s Degree in a Biological or Physical Science - no experience required.
