The PeopleReady located at Lewisville Texas 75067 is currently hiring a Landfill Worker Job Description A Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties in a landfill transfer station or recycling center. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 14 Hour. Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day). Responsibilities Include Carries a large plastic trash bag and walks along the fenced border of the landfill as well as on exterior land adjacent to the public property. Lifting and moving materials Directs the flow of trucks. Communicates with the drivers verbally or by hand signals. Possibly digging and refilling holes Manually separates metal white goods lumber and cardboard from trash on tipping floor at landfills with transfer station.
