The PeopleReady located at Winter Haven Florida 33880 is currently hiring a Truss Production Associate Job Description We are looking for highly motivated and energetic Truss Production Associates for a growing team at a manufacturing and distribution company in Winter Haven FL. We provide building materials for the residential building market statewide. Pay Rate for this Job is 11 Hour - 12 Hour Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) & Weekends Responsibilities Training provided. First Shift 11.00 hr. (1st shift available soon) Assembles building material components such as roof and floor trusses. Processes include insertion or positioning of materials clamping splicing fitting parts and use of both hand and power tools. Plans and implements the assembly of the roof and floor trusses by reading and understanding set-up sheets drawings or blueprints. Ensures that assembled items meet specific quality specifications may propose process improvements in order to increase finished quality or efficiency of assembly processes. Plans and paces work efficiency in order to meet daily weekly project or team related production goals. Responds attentively to training from foreman or more senior assemblers to increase own knowledge of work processes. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or co-workers attends periodic safety meetings as required may recommend changes to improve safety procedures. Other duties may be assigned. Shift 2nd Shift 12.00 hr. (Immediate Openings) Some roles Stacker Saw operator Truss Assembler Builder Employee incumbent in this position.
