The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 2002. The department offers a four year degree program in Computer Science and Engineering with an annual intake of 180 students. The department also offers two year M.Tech program in Computer Science Engineering with an annual intake of 30 students. The Department of Computer Science Engineering is to produce and disseminate theory principles practice and know-how of computing in the information age for the critical analysis design evaluation and Improvement of computing systems in tune with the needs and demands of changing times. It is our objective to prepare our students to be successful in computer engineering practice and to be able to pursue advanced studies in Computer science on a competitive universal basis. The mission is a culmination of our effort to meet the mission of BALAJI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE Engineering and the department s overall objective.
