IT Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

This role has a focus on cloud infrastructure to help us plan implement and support the migration of on-premise workloads to cloud environments. We have an immediate opening for an IT Cloud Infrastructure Specialist who can fulfill this role and has a strong system admin background to provide support in other technology areas as needed.Required Skills and Experience MUST qualify for Top Secret Security Clearance (Canadian Citizen with 10 years verifiable residence) 5 years experience as a system administrator managing servers and networks in a Windows or Linux environment College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science or related technical field Experience and certifications in administering configuring Microsoft Azure environments including managing subscriptions AzureAD virtual networks virtual machines WVD containers and Office 365 services Skilled in configuring or managing virtual machines and associated environments using platforms such as VMWare or Hyper-V Capable of troubleshooting networking issues at various TCP IP layers Experience using PowerShell or other CLI to configure and administer on-premise or Azure cloud server environments Outstanding interpersonal skills including strong written verbal communication Exceptional troubleshooting skills including proven ability to assess diagnose and resolve technical issues Strong desire to find innovative solutions to solve business challenges using modern technologies and best practices Desirable SkillsExperience configuring or supporting Cisco or Dell networking equipment including switches routers and firewalls Familiarity with configuring or supporting Dell storage and compute server appliances Experience with SD-WAN technologies and configurations Experience configuring or managing a VDI environment through VMWare Citrix or WVD Hands-on experience working with Veeam Backup for Office 365 Note 1 You MUST be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e. possess Canadian Citizenship Permanent Residency or Valid Work Permit)Note 2 High Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Note 3 Accommodations are available upon request for all aspects of the hiring process.Note 4 Please submit an MS Word version of your resume when applying for this position.
