Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) - Medina Ohio - JOB 21-00309 Hourly Rate 19.00 - 24.00 HR Permanent Position with Benefits.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. A Medina County raw material manufacturer has an immediate maintenance technician need for their afternoon shift. The duties of this position will include preventative maintenance and troubleshooting repair of production equipment facility infrastructure etc. A candidate with diverse industrial maintenance experience and the ability to work independently is required for this role. The standard shift is Monday through Friday 2PM to 10PM. REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship in a maintenance discipline OR equivalent experience in maintenance OR Associates Degree in mechanical electrical or Industrial maintenance 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment as a Maintenance Technician OR 3 years experience in plastic compounding Extruding facility as an operator with increasing maintenance duties. Ability to perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Able to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Must have good communication skills (written & verbal)Able to work 2nd shift 2pm-10pm Monday thru Friday Union Shop Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
