The PeopleReady located at Los Banos California 93635 is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician Job Description Performs routine maintenance and inspection of the production process equipment the utility support systems and the production rooms. This may include but will not be limited to --Water treatment systems and analysis. --Boilers and operation. --Refrigeration systems and components. --Proper welding practices. --Trouble shooting equipment problems and making necessary repairs as needed. Payrate for this job is 17 to 23 Hour. Responsibilities Include Completes work orders covering scheduled maintenance of the process equipment. Completes unscheduled repairs of all areas as needed. Provides support to operators and companion maintenance mechanics. Performs non-routine maintenance activities including but not limited to basic preventative maintenance on all process equipment. Completes daily log sheets and inventory usage data with entry into computer system. Performs other duties as needed or assigned by the maintenance supervisor. Acts as a member of Emergency Response Team. Qualifications Minimum High School Education with some Electrical or Mechanical vocational training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to function with minimal supervision and to handle multiple tasks. Team player excellent verbal and written communications and computer skills. Understands the English language and can follow instructions in written form. Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Ability to complete written reports accurate documentation of maintenance and inspections performed including parts and supplies used. Job involves standing stooping reaching bending for long periods of time and requires the ability to lift 50 lbs. with climbing pushing pulling and crawling. Use of various hand tools machining tools forklift welding equipment and electrical test equipment. Understands that this is a Safety Sensitive position in a food plant with cold hot and humid conditions wet floors high noise levels forklift and pedestrian traffic. Ability and eagerness to master new skills with a great attitude and work ethic. Must be willing and able to successfully complete Online Video Safety Training prior to job assignment.
