The PeopleReady located at Vancouver Washington 98661 is currently hiring a General Labor Job Description Carrying buckets of gravel about 40 feet and using care and precision to backfill predrilled holes filled with explosive gel. You will also be packing product bags weighing 50 pounds and carrying them to designated locations in the quarry site. You will work under supervision so being a team player and completing tasks as delegated is necessary. This job is physically demanding with repetitive lifting bending kneeling a minimum of 8 hours a day. You will be working in the elements consistently. Pay Rate for this Job is 20 Hour Responsibilities Include You will need to travel to for a one-time three-day MSHA training (we are still waiting on confirmation but it is believed to be in Chehalis) that is required to be on site and working around explosives. A reliable car is necessary. After training is completed you will be working in Vancouver on call and committed to this customer s need. You may be asked to travel to other locations statewide to work. You are always free to find other work when not working with this customer but will need to be able to prioritize this customer s on demand needs. Qualifications A Tier 4 Background check will be running prior to sending our candidates out to training (please see the attached list for what disqualifies from passing a tier 4 background check) as well as a drug screen.
