We re looking for a Pre-Sales Support Engineer for our partner.If you don t already know Pre-Sales Engineer is the travelling techy that deals with all the technical issues that a prospective client brings up in conversation at a level that the Account Manager is incapable of dealing with. It s a pretty cool job You get to travel all over the world. You get to work on some extremely technical environments and see some very cool things that very few people ever get to see. The technology you will be working with is very interesting.RequirementsYou MUST be eligible for Top Secret security clearanceEligible for top secret security clearance No criminal activity No criminal records Ten years of verifiable history Canadian Citizen You need to be technical Very comfortable with networking (able to read a packet capture understand IP flows overview of switching and routing etc.) Very comfortable with operating systems (Linux Windows Virtual Machines containers) Very comfortable with software (memory disk usage client server architecture databases etc.) User Interfaces (HTML browsers etc.) Databases You have to be able to write code. (Usually just scripting to automate tasks in shell script or PowerShell or Python.)
