Exo 40 16 This Moses did according to all that the LORD commanded him so he did. Verse 34 ...the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. WHEN MOSES OBEYED GOD EXACTLY GOD SHOWED HIS APPROVAL. ON THE OTHER HAND COMING OUT OF EGYPT THE ISRAELITES WERE THIRSTY. GOD TOLD MOSES you shall strike the rock and water shall come out of it ... (EXODUS 17 6). MUCH LATER IN NUMBERS 20 THE ISRAELITES ARE AGAIN THIRSTY. THIS TIME GOD TELLS MOSES TO .. tell the rock before their eyes to yield its water... BUT MOSES STRUCK THE ROCK AGAIN. THE WATER CAME AND GOD WAS NOT PLEASED NUMBERS 20 12 ... Because you did not believe in me to uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land ... MOVING THE ARK Exodus 25 13 14 You shall make poles of acacia wood ... to carry the ark by them. Numbers 3 29 31 he clans of the sons of Kohath ... their guard duty involved the ark ... GOD GAVE INSTRUCTIONS AS TO HOW TO MOVE THE ARK II Samuel 6 3 9 And they carried the ark of God on a new cart Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it God struck him down there because of his error...
