Job DescriptionThe Customer Service Representative Product Specialist coordinates all customer communication with the Company. Communications must be timely professional and consistently exceed customer expectations. The CSR addresses business inquiries utilizes product expertise to advise customers to ensure correct product configurations are priced and ordered receives and supports customer orders requests for quotes and confirms lead times. The CSR is also responsible for ensuring that customer needs are translated properly and understood by all internal departments that may handle any issues pertaining to the client s work consequently product knowledge and expertise is essential. As the link between the Company and our customers the CSR is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and customers receive the best possible experience including resolving customer complaints. The CSR Provides routine administrative support to forecasting production planning returned product and related special projects.Note Pay Rate for this Job is 15 Hour - 17 Hour Responsibilities Interacts with customer via telephone email fax and in person to provide support and information on an assigned product and service. Collects and enters orders for new or additional products and services. Completes qualitative review of orders to ensure order meets product requirements and availability pricing is accurate and completes confirmation with customer. Communicates order delivery targets status and updates with operations to manage customer expectations. Monitors order progress coordinates orders across product lines in and ensures delivery as confirmed for regular orders returns and warranty claims. Communicate and collaborate with Operations to ensure order progress and completion as promised identify issues and work internally to reach customer friendly resolutions. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems or concerns. Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries complaints or comments. Uses knowledge of specific product service or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff. Administrative responsibilities that support the position and department. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Customer First service orientation and able to resolve customer grievances. Is an expert in the products offered to our customers. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong time management skills. Flexibility to multitask and accept changing priorities. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Customer service experience required 2 to 3 years minimum. Window covering industry in retail wholesale or manufacturing 2 to 3 years minimum. Experience with the product or service to which the specialist will be assigned preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pound at times.
