SUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking a Logistics Lead for its defense-industry client in Goleta CA. This individual will be responsible for managing the flow of raw materials repair parts and other assets into company manufacturing repair sites and finished goods to customers sites. Managing life cycle costs and schedules this person will coordinate logistics scheduling inventory levels and cost parts availability and relationship across the entire supply chain. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the flow of materials parts and assets from suppliers to company production and repair facilities and then to customer sites. Define required logistics support and schedules based on analyses of life cycle costs reliability and maintainability and availability as determined by technical data and reports on repair parts and equipment. Ensure that both timeline commitments and financial constraints are met in accordance with business plans and schedule requirements while maximizing customer satisfaction. Oversee the execution and continuous improvement of all logistics processes and systems. Build and manage relationships with manufacturing suppliers and customers and ensure prompt resolution of all delivery issues. QUALIFICATIONS Top Secret Clearance or ability to attain required. No visa candidates. Bachelor s degree (BS BA) in Supply Chain Logistics or related field required advanced technical or business degree preferred. 8 years hands-on relevant experience in materials management and logistics. Experience with Microsoft Project Critical Path Analysis and management FARS and DRARS and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
