The Port Worker is involved in heavy industrial labor involving full range of movement above average hand high coordination acute sense of awareness and high degree of mental state at all times. Tasks Performed This position performs the essential functions in the confines of the ships holds under cranes on the dock in the terminal on ship s weather decks in warehouses and any other location as directed by the operational commitments of the company usually under arduous conditions. Mandatory Qualifications Years of Experience open Education High School or Equivalent Certification Diploma Degree Use of basic hand tools. Must have TWIC Minimum Physical Requirements Must have excellent communication skills Above average hand eye coordination. Must be able to work in extreme stressful conditions and high traffic areas. Must be able to work in various weather conditions including heat rain and wind.
