FRESHTAP POUR SYSTEM INC. dba Vancouver Urban Winery Belgard Kitchen is seeking F T Line Cooks.Position Line CookTerms of employment Full-time PermanentWage 16.00 18.00 hr (depending on experience)Working Hour 30-40 hrs weekBenefits 4% Vacation pay Job Duties Prepare an extensive variety of cold and hot foods Plan new menu items regulate size of food portions estimate food requirements and costs and purchase supplies Order kitchen supplies and equipment Maintain inventory and records of food supplies and equipment. Inspect kitchens and food service areas Always keep kitchen and food preparation area clean and sanitized Supervise kitchen helpers and other staffs Train other kitchen helpers in preparation cooking and handling food items Experience requirements Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR Completion of college or other program in cooking OR Minimum 3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
