Position CookTerms of employment Full-time PermanentWage 15 - 18 hr (depending on experience)Working Hour 35 - 44 hrs weekBenefits 4% Vacation payJob Duties Prepare and cook complete meals and dishes for customers Prepare weigh measure and mix ingredients according to recipes Check food and ingredients for freshness Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins Manages other employees in the kitchen Assists other cooks during the food assembly process Portions arranges and garnishes food based on client preference Train and supervise kitchen helpers Maintain kitchen inventory supplies and equipment Maintain good sanitation around work area Offers a creative menu to compete with other local restaurants Order kitchen supplies and equipment when needed Experience requirements Minimum 2 - 3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.Educational Requirements Completion of secondary school is required.Language Requirements EnglishNumber of Positions 2Location Toronto ON CanadaCompany information Core Restaurant Inc.
