Plastic Processing Technician Run Mold Set-Ups Produce Quality Parts Quality Control - Akron OH - JOB 20-00446Pay Rate 16.36 HR - Permanent Position with Benefits. This is a Direct Hire position from day one.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.BENEFITS Hourly Wage 16.36 Starting pay. Starting Date As soon as possibleShift Assignment Will train on 1st and then could be assigned to 2nd or 3rd.Hours 7.5-hrs minimum per week day eligible for overtime pay.Once meeting the qualification periods the following benefits are available Hospitalization 8-paid holidays Paid vacation PensionA well-established plastics manufacturer is seeking to hire 2 Plastic Processing Technicians Set-Up. Technicians will determine that all jobs are being run to the set-up Q.C. specifications are met help with training as needed help with packer run presses set molds per set-up sheets get necessary equipment to run jobs monitor and record molding processes. Keep press (es) filled with material and place molded parts into proper ware pans.REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Manufacturing experience is desired but not required. Must have previous experience working as a plastics processing technician. Must have own dependable transportation. Must pass background check and drug test. Ability to stand and or walk (being on your feet) for eight hours. Good vision correctable with glasses. Ability to align molds which weigh several hundred pounds with a die bar. Other requirements may be necessary as the job dictates. RESPONSIBILITIESAt the start of the shift each technician is to check with the technician leaving to make sure that all jobs in their area are running to set-ups. Also the packer run jobs should be checked to make sure they are producing good parts. If there are any problems that cannot be corrected without deviation from the set-up sheet the operator should notify their foreman immediately. Read the SOI and or posted PCN s for each job assignment prior to starting the job. Make checks on production parts to assure that Q.C. specifications are being met. These checks are to be done on a continually. Perform quality control checks as specified and required. Help with packer run presses. Help train new technicians if requested. Set molds for production per set-up sheets and get all necessary equipment to run the job. Monitor and record molding processes as required by control sheets and keep to standard(s). Keep tools equipment and work area orderly and clean at all times. Keep molds clean and greased as required. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
