This 24 x 18 oil on canvas at first glance represents a bewilderingly accurate representation of - a plank of plain wood . But - in the lower right corner there seems to be a poatcard size picture of a familiar painting by Claude Monet reprisenting a grouping of ice floes on the river Seine with two human figures inspecting all held in place via a plastic push pin. All true. All believable and all who pass by it and inspect it closely can not believe that the wood is actiually canvass and are mezmerised by the accuracy of the MONET reproduction accuracy. You be the judge.
