Broad St. Savannah GA 31401 is currently hiring a Yard Mule DriverThis position is responsible for the safe driving of the mule yard truck the transporting of trailers to and from the yard and dock doors and is responsible for the monitoring of all refrigerated units on the grounds. The Yard Driver will conduct periodic audits of the refrigerated trailers both on the yard and in dock doors. The Yard Driver will report all trailers on the yard at least twice per shift by conducting a yard audit.Pay Rate for this Job is 15 HourResponsibilities The responsibilities of the Yard Mule Driver include but are not limited to Equipment Operation Driving a yard truck. Must have Current CDL Move trailers into proper location Perform 2-yard checks per shift Clean the yard Clean the trucks Clean the warehouse when asked Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Yard Mule. Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company s Code of Ethics. Must examine situations considering the principles of the Code of Ethic Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred TWIC CARD Commercial Driver s License (CDL) Three years of driving experience with CDL license.
