Position Infants daycare workerTerms of employment Full-time PermanentWage 19.00 - 21.00 hour (Depending on experience)Hours 30 - 40 hr weekBenefits 4% vacation pay Extended Benefits 5 sick days per year Job Duties Providing care for children such as setting schedules and routines grooming feeding as age appropriate and provided by parents Develop and encourage age-appropriate learning and socialization to ensure children learn basic skills and concepts such as communication manners sharing etc. Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys Ensure play sleep and changing areas are kept clean Ensure children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance or approved discipline as needed. Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them and change diapers as needed Prepare children to enter the next level of care or for entry into school. Keep records relating to child care.
